Frequently asked questions
- How long is the app free?
Muru will provide it’s software for free until June 30th. We will then reevaluate the situation at that point to see if we should extend it further.
- What will happen once the COVID free period ends?
We will notify you a month before the end of the free period and give you the option to subscribe to Muru. The subscription can be purchased either by you or your agency. We are also planning on offering free version of the app at that point.
- Who can sign up?
All EMTs & Paramedics can sign up for Muru individually. We will be launching the app to more and more regions as we move forward. For now, we are focusing on all providers in New York State.
- What if I work at multiple agencies?
You can add as many agencies as you like onto your individual subscription. The price is a flat $7/mo plus $1/mo for each agency that you add (or save 10% for yearly plans).
- My agency may buy me a subscription soon.
If your agency buys you a subscription after you already purchased one, we'll refund you the remaining time.
- I want to add on another agency, but my original agency pays for me.
Adding on additional agencies won’t interfere with your current agency subscription and you do not need their permission. You will only be billed personally for any additional agencies you add.
- Can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your plan at any time. We'll let you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
